Don't Die is Greg Marasso and Tom Mackerness. In 2002, years after receiving music degrees, they began to compose, produce, and perform homemade electro-acoustic soundtracks. The San Francisco and Sacramento based duo blend downtempo, ambient, electronica, and avante-garde music with conventional instruments.

Greg plays drums, percussion, marimba, keyboards, samplers, and synthesizers. Tom plays bass, violin, effects, voice, computers, and flute. They combine live recordings with sythesized textures to construct magestic and unusual soundscapes.

Don't Die produce and project videos for their music at art and music events.With four CD releases in the
past six years, these Northern California clowns have produced
and recorded custom made electronic gypsy duets. Don't Die is always interested in performing at art shows and adding unique sounds to film and video.
